Brain Injury and Domestic Violence

Welcome to the training course for Virginia’s Screen & Intervene Project. This course will cover brain injury basics, information about the intersection between brain injury and domestic violence, how to use the HELPS screening tool to screen your clients for brain injury, and strategies you can use for cognitive and behavioral challenges that your clients may be struggling with. There are questions to check your knowledge throughout the course. When you complete the course, there is a 20 question assessment that you must pass with an 80% to receive your certificate. You may take the assessment as many times as needed to achieve an 80%.
