BIAV Support Services

One of the goals of the Brain Injury Association of Virginia is to support the members of the brain injury community. Since 1984 we have assisted over 200,000 survivors, caregivers, family members, and professionals searching for information and support with our:

  • Toll free family helpline (1-800-334-8443) to assist with both general information and specific requests. You can also email us at info@biav.net

  • Extensive library of resources on a variety of topics - For a list of these topics or to request more information, click here to fill out our Resource Request Form.

  • List of support groups throughout the state - BIAV helps connect people to groups in their area. Support groups provide many benefits for their members, including a chance to share experiences and get encouragement from other members who have faced similar situations.

  • Regional resource coordinators - BIAV has offices located throughout the Commonwealth to assist individuals in locating local resources, programs, and services and to increase public awareness of brain injury and its affects at the local level.
