Brain Injury is a complex disability that can result in a wide range of characteristics, deficits, and consequences. The Brain Injury Association of Virginia has a large clearinghouse of information consisting of hundreds of articles from many diverse sources. There are many kinds of help available to people with a brain injury and their families. Finding professionals who understand brain injury can be a challenge, yet is vitally important to the recovery process. The Brain Injury Association of Virginia (BIAV) has a number of directories that can help you to find the assistance you need.
